Conflict Resolution Tip

Apr 28, 2009

Did you know that...

... by separating the problem from the person, real issues can be debated without damaging working relationships?

One of the four toxins that kill effective communication and effective problem solving is blame/criticism. This toxic behavior attacks a person's character or personality and doesn't address the issue. This is a surefire set-up for failure which, of course, affects morale, productivity, and your bottom-line.

Conflict resolution coaching gets to the heart of what's creating the blame, develops self-responsibility, and puts into action sustainable changes to promote effective problem solving.

Questions to mull over:

What are the effects of blame/criticism in your workplace?
What do you need to do about it?

Next Step Coaching is enormously pleased to announce the launch of a brand new coaching program:

Five Steps to Peace

This program is a structured and individualized process that facilitates conflict management awareness, knowledge, and competency. Five Steps to Peace teaches participants to employ approaches, techniques, and behaviors that enable successful engagement in and management of interpersonal conflict.

Ideal for managing workplace, partnership, and relationship conflicts and disputes.
