Just some information about me. I graduated from Clarion University in Clarion Pennsylvania with a B.A. in English, attended Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with the intention of a double major Master of Divinity and Master in Social Work from Pitts. I met my husband and after our second year, we married and the seminary wanted me to quit and put him through school. Instead we did an internship in a small church in Ardara, Pennsylvania and after 12 weeks we brought the congregation back from not having enough members to a full one. They have had a minister since then and that was 30 years ago.

S.M. Cookie or 'Country Lady', Has written several stories about Domestic Violence which you can find in the story section of the website. Here is what she has to say about herself:
"I am 66 years old, a mother of 1, grandmother of 4, and great grandmother of 2. I am an adult child of alcoholic parents and am the sole caregiver for my mother who has Alzheimer's Disease. I was lucky that as a child I did not suffer physical abuse but did suffer a lot of mental and emotional abuse. During my younger years, we did not discuss the problems that took place at home with anyone, not even our closest friends. I made a decision while I was in High School that I would not live that lifestyle after I graduated and became an adult and I have not. The man I married was also from a dysfunctional family and we decided that we would never live nor raise children the way we grew up and we did not. I feel that I am very blessed with my current life and outlook. I owe everything to God who has given me the strength to overcome my obstacles and to try and help those who are suffering and in pain. I find that when I put my true feeling in writing on paper, I release my inner tensions and fears and hope to pass on the strength I find to others in needs."
